Sun, 6 May 2007 Featured Movies: A Clockwork Orange Children of Men Starship Troopers You can find more information about any of these films on IMDB or Wikipedia. If you need help finding specific information, please let me know and I will try to give you a hand! Special thanks to Bob for being my guest on today's show, and for helping me with editing, sound effects, and post production. No featured pattern for this episode, but if you're full of Spidey spirit with the U.S. release of Spiderman 3 this weekend, check out some of these cool spider themed knits I found : The Spider Queen Shawl (Knitting Pattern and Kit) a collection of spider stitch patterns from Knitting-And.com Spider Web Sockies a tiny double-knit spider (scare your friends and neighbors!) crocheted spider You can donate to help the victims and families affected by the tragedy at Virginia Tech here. Sorry for the discombobulated nature of the show. It's mostly because I lost my outline and partially, I'm just a bad podcaster. No cookie! See the Mother's Day afghan I'm crocheting and keep up with my crafting between podcasts at my blog. Theme music provided by the Podsafe Music Network. Theme is Busted Frog from .22. Catchy, no? Congrats on your wedding and on your pregnancy! Crochet and knitting are complementary arts. Some things are best crocheted and some things are better when they are knitted up. I love doing both and a number of other crafts. Especially in front of the tv with a movie in the DVD player. Thanks for the podcast!

Hey, great podcast! I had just listened to all the back issues when you took your April hiatus, so I was glad to hear you are feeling better, got married, and are going strong. Your theme music is great; I love the irregular meter. Good luck with everything.

I just finished watching Pan's Labyrinth. Thanks for reviewing it. I wouldn't have watched it otherwise.

Many congratulations on your wedding I hope you are both very very happy for a very very long time. Love the podcast and I'm looking forward to whatever genre you choose next.
By the way did you ever get to see The Queen? I found it very interesting as being English I remember all of the events first hand. I loved Little Miss Sunshine too - so thanks for the positive review - just need to try Pan's Labyrinth now. I've seen Children of Men but I had read the PD James book first and I think I might have to be a book purist on this one!!
